Reading recipes should not cost you your privacy
Clesil Kitchen is a recipe publication. You do not need an account to read it, we do not ask you to register, and there is no store attached to it. Because of that, the amount of personal information involved in your visit is small. This page explains, in plain language, what that small amount is, where it goes, and what say you have over it. The site is operated by FEFLA VENDAS ONLINE LTDA, whose full details appear at the bottom of this page.
What reaches us automatically
Like practically every website, our hosting infrastructure produces standard technical logs when a page is requested. Those logs can include the IP address the request came from, the date and time, the page requested, the browser and operating system identified by the request, and the address of the page that linked here. We use this information in aggregate to keep the site online, spot abuse, and understand which recipes people actually cook. We do not use it to build individual profiles of readers.
What you might choose to send us
The only personal information we receive directly from you is whatever you include if you decide to write to us. A typical message contains a name, an email address and the text of the message itself. We use it to reply, we keep it only as long as the conversation stays useful, and we do not add you to any mailing list because we do not run one.
Advertising and Google AdSense
Clesil Kitchen may display advertising served by Google AdSense. This is the part of your visit where a third party is involved, so it deserves the most detail:
- Google, as a third party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site. These cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
- How Google uses advertising cookies is described in Google's advertising technologies documentation at https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
- Google's broader handling of data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through Google's Ads Settings at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
We do not control which ads Google chooses to display, and an advertisement appearing beside a recipe is not an endorsement of it by us.
Cookies in general
Beyond advertising cookies, the site may set a small number of functional cookies, for example to remember a preference. We may also use a traffic measurement tool that relies on cookies to count visits and see which pages are read most. None of this is necessary for the recipes to work: you can block or delete cookies entirely in your browser settings and every recipe on this site will still load and read normally. Your browser's help pages explain how to manage cookies for your specific device.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade any information about our readers.
- We do not ask for payment details, because nothing here is for sale.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
- We do not send marketing email.
How long information sticks around
Server logs rotate and are discarded on a routine schedule measured in months, not years. Email correspondence is kept while it is relevant and deleted when it no longer is. Cookie lifetimes are controlled by the parties that set them and by your browser settings.
Where the data lives
Our hosting and measurement providers may process technical data on servers located in different countries. Where that happens, it is done under the safeguards those providers publish for international data handling.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete personal information a website holds about you, or to object to certain processing. Given how little we hold, the fastest path is simply to write to us and tell us what you want done; we will do it unless a legal obligation prevents us. You can also exercise the advertising opt-out described above at any time, directly with Google.
When this page changes
If our practices change, this page changes with them, and the revision date at the top is updated. Meaningful changes will be visible here rather than announced anywhere else, so this page is always the current statement of how the site behaves.
